Norwegian Krone to Peruvian Sol

The Norwegian krone (symbol: kr, code: NOK, number 578) is the national currency of Norway, valid in the country since 1874 to have replaced the Norwegian daler. Although nominally the krone is subdivided into 100 ore, coins denominations of less than 1 crone have been discontinued, and ore has existed only electronically since 2012. The banknotes design bears traditional Scandinavian decorations depicting ships, lighthouses, sea waves, cod.

The new Peruvian sol (sign S/, code PEN) is the official currency circulating in Peru. The currency is not used outside the country. The new Peruvian sol is subdivided into céntimos.

Every PEN has 100 céntimos. The currency was issued in 1991. It replaced the previous currency of the Peruvian inti. The Peruvian sol banknotes depict iconic political figures. The averse is decorated with pilots, authors, historians and saints.
