The Norwegian krone (symbol: kr, code: NOK, number 578) is the national currency of Norway, valid in the country since 1874 to have replaced the Norwegian daler. Contemporary Brazilian money was put into circulation in 1994, replacing the Cruzeiro real. Modern banknotes depict sculptures and representatives of Brazilian fauna. The second series of the real, developed in 2010, have been released nowadays. Beginning with 2009 the real exchange rate against the dollar has remained stable.
