Norwegian Krone to Kenyan Shilling

The Norwegian krone (symbol: kr, code: NOK, number 578) is the national currency of Norway, valid in the country since 1874 to have replaced the Norwegian daler. Although nominally the krone is subdivided into 100 ore, coins denominations of less than 1 crone have been discontinued, and ore has existed only electronically since 2012. One KES has 100 cents. The currency appeared in 1966. Before that, Kenya used the East African shilling. Today, only notes and coins issued after 2003 are officially accepted for payment. Outdated notes are being steadily taken out of the market for elimination.
