Norwegian Krone to Jordanian Dinar

The Norwegian krone (symbol: kr, code: NOK, number 578) is the national currency of Norway, valid in the country since 1874 to have replaced the Norwegian daler. Although nominally the krone is subdivided into 100 ore, coins denominations of less than 1 crone have been discontinued, and ore has existed only electronically since 2012. One JOD has 100 piastres. Formally, the qirsh is divided into fils, but the latter one is not used in circulation. The modern coins are minted out of copper, nickel and brass. The currency has been issued since 1950, replacing the outdated Palestinian pound. The Jordanian dinar is decorated with portraits of the state leaders, who were in charge of the country at different times. Kings are portrayed in traditional national clothing.
