The Norwegian krone (symbol: kr, code: NOK, number 578) is the national currency of Norway, valid in the country since 1874 to have replaced the Norwegian daler. Every IQD has 1000 fils. However, since 1990, fils has not been used due to inflation. The currency has been issued since 1932. Before having its own currency, Iraq used the Indian rupee. Since their appearance, notes and coins have gone through several significant changes. Only one detail remained the same: all writing is duplicated in English and Arabic.
