Algerian Dinar to Norwegian Krone

The Algerian dinar (sign DA, code DZD) is the official currency of Algeria. Centimes are the coins that are used as change for the Algerian dinar. One DZD includes 100 centimes.

The currency has been introduced into circulation in 1964. Previously, the country had used the Algerian franc. At the moment, the notes that were issued after 1977 are the main payment unit. Although nominally the krone is subdivided into 100 ore, coins denominations of less than 1 crone have been discontinued, and ore has existed only electronically since 2012. The exchange rate varies depending on oil prices and other economic factors. The average inflation index is low,e.g. in autumn 2019 it was only 1.8%. During 2017 - 2019, all old banknotes were replaced in the country. They can be exchanged in banks until 2028.
