Danish Krone to Egyptian Pound

The Danish krone (international symbol: kr, code: DKK ,number: 208) is the official currency of Denmark effective since 1873.The crone is subdivided into 100 era coins. The banknotes issued since 1945 are still in circulation.

The Danish currency is pegged to the euro at a fixed exchange rate of 7.4 krones for 1 euro, which is supposed to be preserved until the country joins the Eurozone. The Danish currency is used for cash payments and non-cash transfers in Greenland. It is also in circulation on the Faroe Islands, at the exchange rate for local crowns of 1: 1.

Almost every banknote of the Egyptian pound features key mosques of the country. It serves as a reminder that Egypt is a Muslim state.
