Tunisian Dinar to Afghan afghani

The Tunisian dinar (sign DT, code TND) is the main currency of Tunisia, and is not accepted for payment on the territory of other countries. Millimes are used as change for the currency. One Tunisian dinar has 100 millimes.

The currency was issued in 1958. It replaced the Tunisian franc which had been used beforehand. By the law of this African state, you are not allowed to export notes or coins outside the country. The Tunisian government punishes violators with large fees and even imprisonment.

Afghani (sign ؋, code AFN) is the currency of Afghanistan which is not used for payment in other countries. One afghani equals 100 pul coins. Afghani has been issued since 1926.

Originally, coins made only out of silver were used on the territory of the Islamic state. First notes were printed in 1935. The Afghan rupee had been used hand in hand with afghani until 1978. Up until 2002, there had been different types of afghani used in the country and issued by different military and political organizations: “davlati” and “dostumi”, but the new leader, Hamid Karzai, reformed the currency leaving only one type. Banknotes had architectural monuments, key industries and infrastructure depicted on them.
