Singapore Dollar to Norwegian Krone

The Singapore dollar (sign: S$, code: SGD, number: 702) is the national currency of Singapore. It replaced the dollar of Malaya and British Borneo. One dollar is divided into 100 cents.

The Singapore dollar is currently interchangeable with the Brunei dollar (BND) at a rate of 1 to 1. Although nominally the krone is subdivided into 100 ore, coins denominations of less than 1 crone have been discontinued, and ore has existed only electronically since 2012. The exchange rate varies depending on oil prices and other economic factors. The average inflation index is low,e.g. in autumn 2019 it was only 1.8%. During 2017 - 2019, all old banknotes were replaced in the country. They can be exchanged in banks until 2028.
