Belarusian ruble to Afghan afghani

The Belarusian ruble (sign Br, code BYN) is the national currency of the Republic of Belarus. The Belarusian ruble is subdivided into kopecks. Every ruble has 100 kopecks.

The coins have been issued in 2016 after denomination. The currency has come in circulation in 1992 after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. First, new banknotes had to be named "taper”, but by a vote, it was decided to leave the name “ruble”. Belarus does not have its own mint. Banknotes are produced within the country, but coins are made in other countries: Russia, Germany, and Poland.

Afghani (sign ؋, code AFN) is the currency of Afghanistan which is not used for payment in other countries. One afghani equals 100 pul coins. Afghani has been issued since 1926.

Originally, coins made only out of silver were used on the territory of the Islamic state. First notes were printed in 1935. The Afghan rupee had been used hand in hand with afghani until 1978. Up until 2002, there had been different types of afghani used in the country and issued by different military and political organizations: “davlati” and “dostumi”, but the new leader, Hamid Karzai, reformed the currency leaving only one type. Banknotes had architectural monuments, key industries and infrastructure depicted on them.
